As autumn draws near and the weather begins to cool and dampen, many are trading their sandals for winter-proof shoes. Boots, a recurring fashion staple around this time of year, are a popular choice due to their support, protection against wet and muddy conditions, and ability to keep feet warm and dry.

Boots also offer immense versatility when it comes to deciding what to wear. They allow an effortless transition from soggy outdoor environments to snug indoor settings without compromising on style. They pair well with virtually anything, from dresses and jeans to skirts and tights.

Come September, retailers typically unveil their autumn and winter ranges. For budget-conscious fashion enthusiasts, Primark is often the go-to destination. This season, the high-street retailer has introduced several boots, but one pair is getting significant attention.

On TikTok, fashion influencers TheScouseStylists hailed Primark’s new £24 Classic Cowboy Boots as their “favourite 2025 winter boots”, reports the Daily Record. In the video, the style bloggers praise the “gorgeous” boots for their “look really expensive” appearance, despite their modest £24 price tag, and note their adaptability for both casual and formal wear.

Numerous other TikTokers have also shared their views on Primark’s latest autumn collection on the social media platform, with the majority expressing approval. In another video, TikToker Mollypaigeee showcased the boots from her local Primark store and captioned it: “Cow girl era.”

Meanwhile, Jadesidhu praised: “The perfect autumn boots, @Primark coming through.” In the comments section, one person replied: “Omg omg the PERFECT autumn boot.” Another said: “Ohh I need.”

According to Primark’s website, the £24 knee-high cowboy boots feature a pointed toe, block heel, and intricate stitching detail. The retailer says: “Step into classic Western style with these rich burgundy cowboy boots. Designed in a knee-high length with a pointed toe and sturdy block heel, they bring a bold silhouette that’s easy to wear.

“The scalloped top edge adds that signature cowboy shape, while subtle stitching on the shaft and vamp keeps the look authentic. Made from faux leather with handy pull tabs at the top, they’re ready to pair with anything from denim to dresses.”

For those who appreciate this style, they’ll be thrilled to know they’re snagging a bargain, as a nearly identical pair is being sold at Next for more. Next’s Chocolate Brown Premium Leather Knee High Heeled Cowboy Boots are worth £110 – although they are currently available at a discounted price of £40.

Similar to Primark’s version, Next’s Chocolate Brown are knee-high, come with a side zip, pointed toes and a Western design. Next says: “Make a style statement in these knee-high boots, featuring a premium leather upper with a chisel toe, dual pull tabs and side zips for easy wear, finished with a wedge heel.”

Apart from the cost, there remain several distinctions between the two pairs of footwear. Next’s boots have a glossier finish, feature a more substantial heel and are crafted from leather, whilst Primark’s are constructed from synthetic materials, and the upper section of the boot has a more curved shape.
