Emmerdale fans are convinced they have worked out who will save Mackenzie Boyd and Aaron Dingle from twisted John Sugden in the ITV soap’s upcoming scenes.
Emmerdale has confirmed a chilling turn of events for Aaron Dingle and Mackenzie Boyd as murderer John Sugden threatens their lives.
In recent episodes of the ITV soap, John assaulted Mack after he deduced that John (Oliver Farnworth) was responsible for Nate Robinson’s (Jurrell Carter) murder last year and disposed of his body in a lake.
In a desperate bid to prevent Mack (Lawrence Robb) from escaping, a tense confrontation ensued in the woods, during which John shot Mack with an arrow, before seemingly killing him with a rock.
However, in a shocking twist, it was revealed that a critically wounded Mack is actually alive and is being held prisoner by killer John in a secret underground bunker in the woods.

On Wednesday, when John’s captive Mack refused to record a voice message for his wife Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) from the bunker to convince her he had left her, John resorted to AI technology to create a fake one, reports the Daily Star.
While this plot twist was incredibly unsettling, there’s worse to come now that John has listened to his husband Aaron Dingle’s (Danny Miller) message to Mack, and knows he cheated with Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley).
On Thursday (September 4), aware that Aaron isn’t certain about his future with John, John secretly spiked a bottle of whiskey and returned to his cottage.
John soon encouraged his husband Aaron to have a drink, and it’s not long before Aaron finds himself affected by just the one glass.
John is prepared to “look after” Aaron and heads outside to chop some firewood, while an unsuspecting Aaron continues to drink the whiskey.
John has another conversation with Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) on the mental health helpline, and Paddy soon realises he’s speaking to John.
Paddy, sensing that John might be in danger, seeks advice from Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson), not wanting to breach confidentiality, but is told that John “wasn’t a risk”.
Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) and Tracy Robinson (Amy Walsh) are also beginning to suspect something isn’t quite right about John.
Meanwhile, Mack manages to escape the bunker before being recaptured by John, and as the episode ends, John stands over Mack brandishing an axe.
Emmerdale viewers are convinced that Paddy has alerted the police and is on his way to rescue Mack and Aaron from the deranged John.
One person posted on X: “Paddy will get someone there in time #emmerdale.”
Another pleaded: “Clutching at straws but for god sake Paddy and Liam please Rescue Mac #Emmerdale.”
A third queried: “Does paddy know where John’s mothers house is #emmerdale.”
“Call the police Paddy someone must have John’s address. #emmerdale,” one viewer demanded.
While another added: “Oh come on Paddy to the rescue. Oh mack for the love of house please save Aaron. I just cant take this.”
One viewer predicted: “#Emmerdale PLEASE let Liam and Paddy turn up in the nick of time and end all this and end John.”
