Shark’s number one cordless vacuum with 39% off makes cleaning ‘feel less like a chore’

Amazon has slashed £110 off the Shark Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner with Anti Hair Wrap, currently the top seller on the site.

The number one Shark vacuum cleaner on Amazon is currently on sale with almost 40% off. In a new limited time deal, the retail giant has reduced the Shark Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner with Anti Hair Wrap from £279.99 to £170.

This marks a price cut of £109.99 or 39% for the device that’s currently the best-selling product in Amazon’s stick vacuums and electric brooms category. It also beats Shark’s own £249.99 asking price.

The Cordless Stick Vacuum features Shark’s signature Anti Hair Wrap Technology, which separates and removes hair from the motorised brush-roll as it cleans. This means both long and short hair is sucked up into the dust cup to prevent any tangles and make it the ideal vacuum for homes with pets.

The vacuum boasts two floor modes designed for cleaning carpet and hard floors, with bright LED headlights built into the floorhead making it easier to see hidden dust and debris. It has a battery life of up to 40 minutes and a ‘Flexology’ wand, which enables users to clean under low-lying furniture and fold down the vacuum for compact, freestanding storage.

The device also comes with several accessories including a crevice tool, multi-surface tool and pet tool, which can be used with vacuum in handheld mode for cleaning the sofa, stairs or car interior. Amazon isn’t the only retailer slashing its prices, as Dyson has knocked £100 off its V8 Advanced at £229.99, touted as the brand’s ‘most powerful V8 ever’.

Elsewhere, Hoover’s HF4 Hydro Cordless Vacuum Cleaner with Anti Hair Wrap is also £100 off at £199 and comes with a mop attachment to clean the kitchen, bathroom and other hard floors. But for those sticking with Amazon, the Shark Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner with Anti Hair Wrap has earned a 4.5-star rating from almost 2,800 reviews – 91% of which are four or five stars.

One happy customer says: “This is impressively lightweight and easy to manoeuvre, making cleaning feel less like a chore. Despite its compact design, it’s powerful and picks up dust and debris effectively. Ideal for everyday use and quick clean-ups.”

This mixed review criticised the battery life, saying: “Good suction but the battery charging isn’t as strong as I would’ve wanted.”
