ITV Emmerdale fans ‘know’ who else is in secret bunker with Mackenzie in sinister twist

Emmerdale fans are convinced that they have worked out who else is in the bunker with Mackenzie Boyd

Emmerdale fans viewers believe they’ve figured out who else is sharing John Sugden’s clandestine bunker with MacKenzie Boyd.

MacKenzie (Lawrence Robb) was assaulted by covert killer John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) last week after Mack deduced that John was the one who murdered Nate Robinson (Jurrell Carter) last year and disposed of his body in a lake.

In a desperate bid to prevent Mack from escaping, a tense confrontation ensued in the woods, during which John shot Mack with an arrow, before seemingly killing him with a rock.

However, in a massive plot twist, it was unveiled that a critically injured Mack is actually alive and being held prisoner by John in a secret underground bunker in the woods.

In Monday’s episode (1 September), John visited Mack who woke up and demanded answers. In an attempt to establish a rapport with his captor, Mack persuaded John to confess his crimes, reports the Daily Star.

Mack then begged for John to release him and promised that he would head to Scotland and keep quiet about everything. Initially, John seemed conflicted and even appeared to contemplate his offer.

However, when Mack tried to attack John, he changed his mind and made it clear he wasn’t going to let him go.

But now, in what could be another significant twist, fans speculate that someone else is in the bunker with Mack. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, fans suspect that Anthony Fox’s (Nicholas Day) dead body is also in there.

Viewers will remember that Anthony was killed by his daughter Ruby Miligan-Fox (Beth Cordingly), following years of abuse at his hands.

John subsequently assisted by disposing of the corpse and concealing the crime. Nevertheless, he never revealed the whereabouts of Anthony’s remains or where he placed him – and now, fans believe he is in the bunker with Mack.

One person wrote: “100% Anthony’s down there with Mack.” Someone else added: “Yep probably has his body stored there!”. A third chimed in: “I thought that and maybe other bodies.” Another also wrote: “I’m guessing Anthony is in there with Mack?”
