A breakfast TV legend has been tipped to enter the I’m A Celebrity jungle later this year after previously turning down the opportunity
Rumours are swirling around the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! line-up, with a breakfast television icon being the latest celebrity tipped to venture into the jungle.
TV presenter and actress Denise Van Outen might be Australia-bound this November, as betting firms suggest she’s finally ready to take on the I’m A Celebrity challenge after previously declining the chance.
Bookmakers have cut Denise’s chances of joining this year’s camp from 5/1 to 2/1, and it appears her diary has space for the ITV programme.
Ladbrokes’ Cal Gildart revealed to The Sun: “It looks like the stars have finally aligned to give us Denise van Outback in 2025.
“With a new album in the autumn and a tour booked for the spring, there’s a glaring hole in her calendar that she could fill with a Bushtucker Trial or two.”

Denise rose to prominence co-presenting The Big Breakfast alongside Johnny Vaughan. The pair helmed the popular show from 1997 through to 2001, reports the Express.
She’s also hosted television programmes including Who Dares, Sings! and Something for the Weekend, whilst serving as a judge on Ireland’s Got Talent and Born to Shine.
Denise features on Celebrity Gogglebox and has taken part in programmes like The Masked Singer, Dancing on Ice and Strictly Come Dancing.
In her acting career, she’s featured in EastEnders and Neighbours, whilst providing voiceover work for ITVBe’s The Only Way Is Essex since 2010.
Denise is the latest celebrity rumoured to be joining I’m A Celebrity, set to return later this year with Ant and Dec once again leading the charge.
Other stars speculated to be braving the Australian outback include Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley and EastEnders’ Shona McGarty and Patsy Palmer.
Additional names linked to the show include Ally McCoist, Jools Oliver, Tommy Fury, Phil Taylor and Will Mellor, although ITV chiefs have yet to confirm any contestants.
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! is due back on ITV1 in November. Past series can be streamed on ITVX.
