Emmerdale fans are convinced they know who will find Mackenzie Boyd in the secret bunker
Emmerdale viewers are convinced they’ve figured out who will discover Mackenzie Boyd in the bunker, following the revelation that he’s still alive.
Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb) was last spotted on the soap a week ago, pursued through the woods by clandestine killer John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth).
Just moments before, Mack had deduced that John was responsible for Nate Robinson’s (Jurrell Carter) murder last year and the subsequent disposal of his body in a lake.
In a desperate bid to prevent Mack from escaping, a high-stakes confrontation ensued in the woods, during which John shot Mack with a crossbow arrow that pierced his chest.
Despite being injured but still breathing, Mack found himself cornered by John who picked up a large rock and hurled it at him, seemingly ending Mack’s life, reports the Daily Star.
Later on in the village, viewers were shown what appeared to be Mack’s body, concealed under a blanket in the back of his van, with blood dripping down and flies swarming around it. John aroused further suspicion among viewers after he concealed something in the woods as well.
Since then, John has taken a short holiday with his husband Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) to a cottage. However, in Friday’s episode (August 29), it was disclosed that the cottage is actually John’s childhood home.
Subsequently, John was seen venturing into the woods before entering a hidden bunker underground. In a shocking turn of events, it was revealed that Mackenzie is indeed alive and is being held prisoner in the secret bunker.
Now, fans are convinced they’ve figured out who will discover Mack in a desperate bid to rescue him. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one viewer exclaimed: “I knew it! ! Just knew Mack was still alive! !”.
In the comments section, other viewers speculated that Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) might be the one to find him, given that he left the village a few months ago and is currently residing in the countryside in his car. They commented: “Let’s hope Bear whose living n the woods finds him.”
Another person chimed in: “I forgot that bear was living in his car around the woods too. Ooo hes definitely got to come across him. This John storyline is beginning to wear thin now.” A third agreed: “I totally agree.”
