EastEnders spoilers have confirmed that Zoe Slater returns next week after a brief appearance earlier this summer but who will she be romantically connected to?
EastEnders viewers are certain they’ve figured out who Zoe Slater will be romantically linked with upon her return to Walford.
The former Albert Square resident is confirmed to make a dramatic reappearance next week, following a fleeting visit earlier this summer.
During Wednesday’s (August 27) instalment of the BBC One soap, Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) reached out to his estranged sister, whom he’s never met, after a fallout with their mother, Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace).
Spoilers have revealed that next week, an anxious Kat is on a mission to locate Tommy, oblivious to the fact that he’s gone in search of Zoe.
Just as Kat and Alfie Moon (Shae Richie) start losing hope and fear that Tommy may never come back, her mobile begins to vibrate and Tommy is outside, reports the Daily Star.

She dashes out to find him and is relieved to hear his voice, but is stunned when she sees Zoe standing before her for the first time in years.
What – or who – has kept Zoe away from her family for so long remains a mystery, but actor James Farrar, who portrays Zack Hudson, has hinted at an upcoming plot involving the Slaters.
In a recent chat with Digital Spy and Inside Soap, James said: “It’s nice to be in the centre of the drama with the Slaters. Obviously Zoe Slater doesn’t get on with my family too well but it’s nice.
“I started the show in the Vic kitchen and now I’m back there. I was with the Carters before and now I’m with the Slaters.”
Fans have started to speculate that Zoe might end up with her rival Sharon Watts’ attractive brother Zack.
On X, previously known as Twitter, one fan wrote: “oh Zack and Zoe are definitely becoming an item and I don’t care what people say I love the idea of them # EastEnders.”
Another chimed in: “Zack and Zoe romance when it should ar Kelly Taylor. Bring back Zoe’s girlfriend please I can’t deal with this #EastEnders.”
A third person commented: “James Farrar just said in an interview he’s ‘in the with the Slaters’ now so I’m assuming Zack is gonna get together with Zoe and work at The Vic since apparently he gets a job there soon…. #EastEnders.”
Long-time viewers will recall that Zoe and Sharon share a complex past due to Zoe’s previous romantic entanglements with both Sharon’s adoptive father ‘Dirty’ Den Watts (Leslie Grantham) and her adoptive brother Dennis Rickman (Nigel Harman).
