Festival season is coming to a close across Northern Ireland
Belfast Vital is back in Boucher Road Playing Fields for another big year of shows.
Tens of thousands of fans are expected to travel to South Belfast on Thursday, August 28, for Sam Fender and Friday, August 29, for Kneecap and Fontaines D.C.

This year, two massive concerts are set to take over Boucher Road Playing Fields.
They are:
- Sam Fender – August 27 (tickets still available)
- Fontaines D.C – August 29 (sold out)

Sam Fender – Thursday 28:
Gates: 4pm
Show starts: 5pm
Fontaines D.C. – Friday 29:
Gates: 5pm
Show starts: 6pm

How do I get to the Boucher Road Playing Fields for Belfast Vital?
If you are attending either of the two shows, organisers are asking concert-goers to plan their journeys in advance.
Boucher Road is really accessible via public transport and those attending are asked to make use of this facility as there is no parking available in the vicinity of the venue.
Fans are advised to park in the City Centre and either walk to the concert or avail of the Translink Metro and rail Services.

Can I bring a bag with me to Belfast Vital?
Concert promoters are asking those attending not to bring a bag unless it is totally necessary.
If you must bring a bag it needs to be smaller than A4 size. Bags under A4 size will be subject to a search.
Patrons are advised not to bring backpacks or large handbags as they will be refused entry.

Is there parking at Boucher Road Playing Fields?
Boucher Road is really accessible via public transport and those attending are asked to make use of this facility as there is no parking available in the vicinity of the venue.
As there are no parking facilities or taxi drop-off points at the concert venue, parking is available at the following car parks:

• Corporation Square – 24hrs
• Cromac Street – 24hrs
• Corporation Street – 24hrs
• Dunbarr Street – 24hrs

Belfast Vital age restrictions:
A strict age policy will be in place. The promoter reserves the right to refuse admission without refund to anyone who fails to comply.
SAM FENDER: Recommended over 16’s. Up to two under-16s can go to the Sam Fender concert as long as they’re accompanied by a parent or guardian 25+.
FONTAINES D.C: strictly over 16’s. ID required. Strict age monitoring will be in place. Under 16’s will be refused entry without refund.
Belfast Vital weather forecast
Fans should remember a coat when heading to Belfast Vital this week as the weather is forecasted to be wet.
For Thursday, the Met Office said: “A bright start in the east but turning showery everywhere with some sharp showers and the risk of thunder, quite blustery in showers too. Maximum temperature 17 °C.”
Kneecap and Fontaines D.C. fans can expect “sunny intervals changing to light showers by late morning” on Friday.
