A man is due to appear in court charged with a number of offences after an alleged sexual assault on a woman in Co Down.
The 26-year-old has been charged with multiple offences following the incident which is reported to have taken place in Talbot Street car park in Newtownards on Monday, August 25.
He is due to appear at Newtownards Magistrates Court on Tuesday, August 26.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Detectives have charged a man to court following a report of a sexual assault on a woman in the Talbot Street car park area of Newtownards on Monday 25th August.
“The man, aged 26, has been charged with a number of sexual offences. He is due to appear before Newtownards Magistrates’ Court today, Tuesday 26th August.
“As is usual procedure, all charged will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.”
