According to a leak shared by Ytechb, the starting price of the base Galaxy Tab S11 model with WiFi might be $860. Unsurprisingly, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is rumored to be significantly more expensive, with a starting price of $1200. Here’s the complete list of prices from this leak:
- Galaxy Tab S11 12GB + 256GB and WiFi only – $860
- Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra 12GB + 256GB and WiFi only – $1200
- Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra 12GB + 512GB and WiFi only – $1400
- Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra 16GB + 1TB and WiFi only – $1700
As you may have noticed, there’s no information for the rumored versions of the Galaxy Tab S11 with 128GB or 512GB storage, nor details about the price of any of the versions with cellular connectivity. Those 5G-powered devices are certainly going to be more expensive than the WiFi-only models.A while ago, we saw another rumor about the prices of the vanilla version of the tablet, which included details about some models with cellular connection. The leaked prices were for the European market, but they sound in line with the newly leaked US pricing:
- Galaxy Tab S11 with 128GB storage – €899
- Galaxy Tab S11 with 128GB storage and 5G – €1,049
- Galaxy Tab S11 with 256GB storage and WiFi only – €959
- Galaxy Tab S11 with 256GB storage and 5G – €1,109
- Galaxy Tab S11 with 512GB storage and WiFi only – €1,079
None of the prices we’ve seen so far is exactly a shocker. The base Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra was selling for $1,200 when that tablet launched last year. However, Samsung is doubling the base storage this year, as the Tab S10 Ultra only had 128GB in the entry-level variant.
With that pricing, Samsung is hoping to challenge Apple in the high-end tablet space this year, and its chances are good. The Galaxy Tab S11 will face the most affordable iPad Pro 11 (M4), which starts at $999 for a version with 256GB storage, while the Tab S11 Ultra will offer great specs in a razor-thin body.
Nobody knows for sure when the Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra will be announced and released, but rumors claim that the premiere will be soon. It’s likely that the announcement will take place during the IFA trade show in Germany in early September, which would match the premiere of last year’s models, which was also in September.
