Coronation Street fans are convinced that a beloved resident is going to die
Coronation Street viewers have predicted a shocking death on the cobbles in a major Carla Connor twist.
Carla (Alison King) first appeared on the ITV soap back in 2006. As the determined Underworld boss, Carla has established herself as a soap icon.
She has been at the centre of numerous major storylines throughout the years. From passionate romances to her struggle with alcoholism, her journey on the iconic street has been packed with drama, reports the Daily Star.

Particularly now, as circumstances have been improving significantly for Carla and partner Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers).
Last month, the pair, alongside Lisa’s daughter Betsy (Sydney Martin), relocated to No. 6 on the street, preparing for a fresh start. And this week, Carla disclosed her intentions to propose.
In Friday’s episode (August 15), Carla organised everything meticulously, and requested Glenda (Jodie Prenger) to place the engagement ring into a champagne flute upon her arrival.
However, when Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) began discussing her own wedding arrangements, Lisa disclosed that her deceased wife Becky had proposed to her using a ring in a champagne glass.
Mortified, Carla subsequently abandoned the engagement plan. Nevertheless, soap enthusiasts remain convinced that nuptials will proceed. But in a heartbreaking turn of events, they believe Lisa will tragically perish.
On a Corrie Facebook fan page, one person wrote: “If you have watched for years you will know that marriage doesn’t end well for Carla so do we think they could kill Lisa off in the wedding?”
Someone else added: “I would be so upset if they did! A third chimed in: “Something bad will probably happen you’re right. ” Echoing their thoughts, someone else mused: “Yeah I thought that.”
