One of Northern Ireland’s most viral food spots is almost ready to open its new location in South Belfast.
The Wing Society, known for its spicy wings, loaded fries and massive chicken tenders, has become one of the most popular spots at Common Market in the Cathedral Quarter since opening last summer.
The team has confirmed that it is almost time to welcome customers to its first brick-and-mortar location on the Lisburn Road next month.

Taking to social media, The Wing Society has announced that it will open its doors at the former Bao Bun unit on the busy South Belfast street on September 4.
Wing fans can expect new menus, returning classics and cocktails when the new location opens to the public.
In an Instagram post, The Wing Society team said: “We can finally see the finish line.
“After numerous setbacks, on the 4th September we’ll be throwing open our doors to welcome you into our brand new Lisburn Road site!
Our team has been working incredibly hard behind the scenes to bring you new food and drink menus.
“Expect all our favourites some new items along with Cold Beers & Spicy Margs. We’ll see you there”.
Hoarding has now come down from the shopfront and the finishing touches appear to be getting into place ahead of its grand opening in over three weeks’ time
