Emmerdale’s Robert Sugden and Aaron Dingle could be getting back together in upcoming scenes.
Emmerdale fans are convinced that Robert Sugden and Aaron Dingle will reunite following John Sugden’s attack. Soap viewers will know that Robert (Ryan Hawley) returned to the village after six years in May to try and stop his ex-husband Aaron’s (Danny Miller) wedding to his brother John (Oliver Farnworth).
Despite the exes sharing a passionate kiss, Aaron chose to go ahead with his marriage to John, leaving Robert devastated. Robert has since begun to suspect John’s motives after learning about his various life-saving actions throughout the village.
Soap viewers will know that villain John was responsible for killing Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) last year, as well as drugging Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) and framing Owen Michaels (Simon Haines) for Nate’s death.

Things took a dark turn last week when John got Robert in a headlock after he threatened to expose his actions.
Following the scuffle, a furious Robert grabbed a wrench and hit John over the head.
After John regained consciousness in hospital, Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) managed to persuade Robert to apologise to their brother.
Robert reluctantly admitted that he was jealous and confirmed that he would leave both John and Aaron alone, with John later agreeing not to report him to the police.
On Monday (August 4), Robert bumped into Aaron at the shop, where he tried to clear the air.
“I promised him and I promise you, it’s over. I guess prison’s taken a bit more of a toll than I realised,” Robert explained.
“It’s like I’ve forgotten how to get along with people. It’s gonna take a bit of time relearning how to act.”
Robert then shared his thoughts of “cutting his losses” and starting afresh away from the village, but Aaron urged him not to leave.
“Your roots are here, Robert. Don’t underestimate that,” he said.
Before walking away, Aaron quickly turned back, saying: “People do care about you, you know.”
After watching the heartfelt scene, many Emmerdale fans have taken to social media to share their theories about Robert and Aaron, aka Robron, possibly getting back together soon.
“The chemistry between Robert and Aaron after all this time is just chefs kiss. We’re honestly SO back,” one person wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
Another added: “Aaron’s trying, he’s trying to show he cares even when he’s struggling with so much. I hope Robert takes everything away from this that he was trying to give. This meant so much.”
A third said: “We all know this Aaron look! This is him getting worried because them feelings he buried so far down are creeping back up. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this emotion, this look when he’s looked to John. Robron are coming back.”
A fourth viewer echoed the sentiment, saying: “The banter, the longing looks, the moment of silence, the love in their eyes, the emotions! This was SO MUCH! They can portray everything in such a short scene. I love this.”
