Coronation Street actor Harry Lowbridge, who plays Logan Radcliffe, has confirmed his exit from the ITV soap

Coronation Street viewers will witness another character’s departure, with their final scenes having already been broadcast.

Actor Harry Lowbridge, who portrayed the villainous Logan Radcliffe throughout the past 12 months, turned to social media to announce his exit from the popular ITV soap.

Posting on Instagram, the performer, who joined the cast as Logan in 2024, wrote: “Farewell Logan. It’s been a blast x” accompanied by a photograph of his character behind bars speaking to Carla Connor, portrayed by Alison King.

Logan initially appeared on the cobbles last year as one of Mason Radcliffe’s elder siblings.

Nevertheless, it quickly emerged that Logan, along with brother Matty, were tormenting Mason and wreaking havoc throughout Weatherfield, reports Leicestershire Live.

In a devastating revelation, it transpired that the brothers were connected to DS Lisa Swain’s deceased wife Becky’s death.

Mason assisted Lisa in exposing his siblings. Nevertheless, the brothers pursued vengeance against Mason and brutally murdered him with a knife. Following their escape, the pair were eventually apprehended.

However, in recent episodes, Lisa’s daughter Betsy Swain and partner Carla have pursued information from Logan after discovering that Becky might have been a corrupt police officer prior to her death.

Arriving at the prison last week, Carla demanded explanations, to which Logan maintained she must compensate him for any details.

Nevertheless, he accidentally revealed one hint when he mentioned the name Tia Wardley, though Carla’s investigation yielded no results. Mere moments following his encounter with Carla, Logan faced intimidation from a fellow prisoner for revealing excessive details.

Nevertheless, this appears to mark the conclusion of Logan’s storyline as actor Harry has confirmed his departure.

Reacting to the Instagram announcement, one fan commented: “You’ve been amazing harry! all the best for the future”, whilst a separate account wrote: “You did amazing in your last episode in corrie going to miss you playing Logan well done good luck whatever the future holds for you” and another contributor noted: “A testament to your talent that you were asked back several times.”

This development arrives alongside numerous departures from the cobbles as Sally Ann Matthews, who portrays Jenny Connor, announced her exit from the legendary street following an impressive 39 years last week.

The 54 year old actress, who initially appeared on our television screens in the beloved ITV soap in 1986, used Instagram on Friday to reveal the devastating news to her supporters.

In her emotional message, Sally penned: “I was supposed to stay for five months but ended up doing an extra ten years because I loved it so much!”.

She continued: “It’s time though to play those parts I always hoped I would when I’d ‘grown up.’ Thanks Trafford Wharf Rd for the memories and endless laughter x.”

Meanwhile, a slew of Corrie favourites are poised to bid farewell to the cobbles in forthcoming episodes or have already made their exit. These include Craig Tinker, portrayed by Colson Smith, Billy Mayhew, played by Daniel Brocklebank, Eileen Grimshaw, brought to life by Sue Cleaver, and Debbie Webster, enacted by Sue Devaney.
