Rock N Roll Circus in Sheffield announce Richard Ashcroft for 2026

by wellnessfitpro

Rock N Roll Circus returns to Sheffield’s Don Valley Bowl for the 2026 August Bank Holiday (28–30 August), and organisers have confirmed another huge name for what’s set to be the festival’s biggest year yet. Richard Ashcroft will headline the Sunday, joining previously announced Friday headliners The Streets, with Saturday’s main act still to be revealed.

Ashcroft arrives in Sheffield following a major resurgence, having spent 2025 as special guest on Oasis’ global reunion tour and releasing his acclaimed new album Lovin’ You. With a back catalogue spanning The Verve classics like “Bittersweet Symphony,” “Lucky Man,” and “The Drugs Don’t Work,” plus solo favourites including “A Song for the Lovers,” his Big Top performance is expected to be one of the standout festival moments of 2026. He’s joined on Sunday by Scottish indie favourites The Fratellis and Britpop stalwarts Cast, adding further weight to the festival’s UK guitar heritage.

Friday will see The Streets perform A Grand Don’t Come for Free in full for the first time, with huge demand already building. Now a staple of the UK festival calendar, Rock N Roll Circus blends major artists with circus performers, workshops and street theatre – an unique, immersive weekend that will expand further as more acts are announced.

Ticket are are available this week, with the pre-sale opening on Weds December 3, and going on general sale on December 5. Tickets and info at www.rocknrollcircus.co.uk
