ITV viewers saw a slightly unusual line-up as only three people were on the panel during Friday’s Loose Women.
Friday’s edition of Loose Women had a noticeably different line-up, with Kaye Adams, Jane Moore and Nadia Sawalha presenting the programme. The change follows an emotional moment from one of the show’s stars earlier this week.
The ITV daytime programme typically features four panellists discussing current affairs before welcoming guests. However, viewers saw just three presenters as Kaye swiftly explained the absence.
She said: “First, you might have noticed and then there were three, there’s just three of us here today. Liv (Olivia Attwood) as meant to be with us. Oh my goodness, she came into the morning meeting, she’s a trooper.
“But, she was just dying! Wasn’t she? She’s had bug, after bug, after bug for the last month. So Liv, I don’t know if she’s watching, she’s probably under a duvet somewhere.”
Nadia intervened, pointing out how healthy Liv had appeared during their meeting before her condition deteriorated, reports the Express.

Kaye added: “It’s just going around! Nadia, you wouldn’t come near me this morning because I’ve got my cough sweeties.”
Nadia revealed to ITV audiences that the trio had enjoyed a morning coffee together, during which Kaye warned them to keep their distance due to her virus.
The Loose Women presenter added: “I actually went and sat at another table and then Jane insisted on pulling a chair over. Now, I can’t believe I’m in the middle (of Kaye and Jane). Olivia, you’ve left me with her!”
Jane informed the pair that illness seems widespread at this time of year, after she contracted a vomiting bug last weekend.
She continued: “Literally in bed all day long, wiped me out for two days. But now, with Christmas in our sights, I’m like don’t get anything.”
Throughout the past few hours, Liv has been updating her followers about her condition, explaining the measures she’s taking to try and recover.
As her absence was addressed on the show, she posted a behind-the-scenes image of the medical staff at ITV caring for her.
The photograph showed a person standing beside a medical device as she wrote: “I’m really sorry to anyone that was expecting me to be on Loose Women today.
“Got to work and my body finally said no. Thank you to the team for looking after me. Back soon.”
Loose Women is available to watch on ITVX.
