Originally from the Finglas area of Dublin, Mr O’Reilly had relocated to Loughshinny, near Skerries in the north of the county. His death notice was published on Tuesday afternoon.

He leaves behind a wife, three children and one grandchild, reports the Irish Mirror.

His funeral mass is set to take place in Rush, also in north County Dublin, next Monday. The notice reads: “O’Reilly, Wesley (Wes) – (Loughshinny and late of Finglas, Dublin). Unexpectedly, November 24, 2025. Predeceased by his dad Brendan his brother Bren and his sister Margaret.

“Wes will be sadly missed by his loving family, mother Noeleen, his loving wife Nina, daughters Kirsty and Cody, son Ross, grandson Mason, his children’s partners Craig, Mikes and Ava, sisters, brothers in law, sister in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

“May Wes Rest In Peace. Reposing at his home on Sunday evening (30th Nov) from 3pm to 5pm. House private outside of these times. Funeral mass on Monday morning at 10am in St Maur’s Church, Rush followed by burial in Whitestown Cemetery.”

Mr Wesley, a keen hunter according to sources, was the lorry driver involved in the horrific collision near Gormanston in Meath on Monday morning. The crash involved his lorry, a bus driven by Mr Conway, and a car driven by a woman.

The tragedy unfolded around 6:30am on the R132 in Gormanston, Co Meath, where Mr Conway was driving the Route 101 bus. The three-vehicle crash occurred near the Huntsman Inn on a busy stretch of road, resulting in over 12 people being injured.

The female car driver was urgently taken to Dublin’s Beaumont Hospital by emergency services, where she remains in a serious condition. A teenage girl who was a passenger in the woman’s car was transported to Temple Street Children’s Hospital, where her condition is also reported as serious.

Several other individuals were hospitalised with non-life-threatening injuries. Gardai have initiated an investigation into the tragic incident and are appealing for any witnesses to step forward.

They are particularly interested in any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the R132, at Gormanston, Co. Meath, between 5.45am and 6.45am on Monday 24th November 2025. They are urged to make this footage available to the investigating Gardaí.
