She faces 13 charges in total with offences ranging from fraud by false representation to theft
A worker at Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice appeared in court today (Saturday Nov 15) facing 13 charges, including domestic abuse and coercive control, witness intimidation and perverting the course of justice.
Mum-of-five, Lisa Jane Davies, 44, with an address in Lisburn, Co Antrim, was arrested on November 14, 2025 and police charged.
The Court heard how Davies had used several aliases and had met vulnerable men on dating sites before quickly developing relationships with them.
Her charges are: Criminal damage, Domestic Abuse, Assault occasioning actual body harm, Theft, Intimidation of a witness, Attempting to pervert the course of justice, Fraud by false representation, Unauthorised access to computer material and Unlawful obtaining/disclosure of personal data.
Davies appeared in Court 6 of Laganside Magistrate’s Court on Saturday morning.
Police objected to bail while her defence solicitor, Hamill Clawson of Reid Black Solicitors, said there had been no offending in the last year during the time he stated, that Davies had “been aware of a police investigation”.
Magistrate Amanda Henderson said: “Because she’s currently working at the hospice, so that seems to be another piece of concern.” She concluded that as Davies’ role was in administration, she had no contact with the public or patients.
Judge Henderson said: “My main concern is to protect future vulnerable individuals.
“You’re not to have any contact whatsoever yourself or through any third party, any shape or form with any witnesses in this case, and you are to surrender over photographic ID.”
Davies was ordered to present herself to police at Lisburn on Mondays and Fridays between 5pm and 7pm.
Judge Henderson added: “You’re not to leave the Northern Ireland jurisdiction.”
As part of her bail conditions, she was ordered £750 and barred from accessing dating sites or apps online. A further court dates was set for December 15, 2025.
