Police have released CCTV footage of a man they want to speak to following the discovery of a viable pipe bomb outside a Sinn Féin constituency office last month.

A pipe bomb was left outside the offices of Newry and Armagh MP Dáire Hughes and Stormont’s Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins on Monaghan Street in Newry on Sunday, October 5.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Can you help us identify the individual in the accompanying footage?

“We are investigating a report of a pipe bomb in the Monaghan Street area of Newry on Sunday, 5th October, and believe the individual pictured may be able to assist us with our enquiries. We are asking them, or anyone who has information, to contact us on 101, quoting reference 1648 05/10/25. “Please do not comment on this post with information. If you can help, please phone us on 101. Alternatively, information may be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
