Guitarist Bernth and bassist Charles Berthoud are set to bring their Escape the Internet tour to Australia next week, marking the first time the two virtuosos will perform live together on local stages. The tour kicks off in Brisbane on Friday, October 31, before heading to Melbourne and Sydney for two more shows across the weekend.
After a successful run through Europe, the pair are trading their online followings — more than four million fans combined — for real-world audiences eager to see their technical skill up close. The shows will feature live collaborations, Q&A sessions, demonstrations, and joint performances highlighting their musicianship beyond YouTube screens.
Joining them are Australian progressive instrumentalists The Omnific, known for their bass-heavy compositions and genre-defying sound that blends prog, metal, funk, and synth-driven textures. Together, the trio of acts promises a night that celebrates creativity, collaboration, and the craft of modern instrumental music.
With only three dates on the schedule, Escape the Internet offers fans a rare chance to witness two of the internet’s most respected musicians take their music from the digital world to the stage.
