Marks & Spencer has issued a product recall due to the potential risk of an unlisted ingredient. The supermarket is recalling its own-brand M&S Milk Chocolate Honeycomb “due to the possible presence of undeclared peanuts in a small number of packs”.
This means the product could pose a health risk for anyone with a peanut allergy, according to the Food Standards Agency (FSA). M&S highlighted the product in a point-of-sale notice.
The affected batches have a best before date of 12 May 2026, and a lot number of 5242.

M&S has apologised to customers and stated that the decision was made “in the abundance of caution”, reports the Express.

“The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product.”
