While Halloween has not even come around yet, Christmas fans are excited after Marks and Spencer rolled out its range of festive food early this year – from biscuit tins to picky bits and festive fillings in sandwiches

Supermarkets are already gearing up for the festive season with Christmas food products hitting the shelves. Marks and Spencer has thrilled customers by announcing new items have recently arrived in stores, marking the earliest release date for its festive food range.

The retailer confirmed the availability of a variety of biscuit boxes in stores this year. In an Instagram post shared on Monday [October 14], M&S showcased its stunning range, which includes a Letters for Santa tin, a Santa Jack-In-A-Box, a Festive Magic Projector tin, the Plant Kitchen light up tin, and the Made Without light up tin.

Each tin is packed with delicious treats, such as salted caramel and chocolate chunk cookies, all butter shortbread, and vegan dark chocolate, cranberry and orange cookies.

The popular store said: “From our collectable light up houses and playful post boxes, to our magical projectors, we’re famous for the most gorgeously giftable tins here at M&S.

“Aren’t these cute,” wrote one customer. “Omg one of each please,” insisted another eager shopper. “Love them, always special,” commented another.

Another customer said: “They are all fantastic, great for gifts and for yourself. Oh go on, spoil yourselves.”

Customers were also thrilled by the gluten-free tin. “Yay gluten free biscuit tin… I’m so happy,” commented one. “A gluten free tin,” added another, excitedly tagging a friend.

One eager customer pleaded: “Please can you say when you are releasing your Christmas sandwiches. I know it’s way too early, I know we haven’t had Halloween… but I need one. The Christmas season starts when your sandwich arrives.”

In response, M&S assured: “It’s never too early for Christmas. Our festive sandwiches are being released from October 15.”

True to their word, the supermarket has indeed delivered. In a post shared this morning, M&S declared: “New in the M&S Foodhall – the Christmas sandwich countdown is over.

“Today our festive food range launches in Foodhalls, earlier than ever before.”

The lunchtime selection includes a Ho Ho Ho-ney Mustard Ham Hock sandwich, Festive Turkey Dipper pretzel snack, Fa La La La Fel Wrap, Boxing Day Curry Wrap, Christmas Club sandwich, Turkey Feat sandwich, Brie and Cranberry sandwich, Pigs In Blankets sandwich, and a gluten free Turkey Feast sandwich.

Also hitting the shelves are the Mini Turkey Feast Toasties for £7.50, Hash Brown Topple Tower £5.50, Collection Paella Bits £7.50, and Fish and Chips Bites £5.50.

The sharing plates on offer include a variety of options such as 12 Mini Pies Collection, Brie and Cranberry Tartlets, 12 Handmade Tiger Prawn Selection, 10 Our Best Ever Beef Burgers, and many more.
