A staff member has been left ‘badly shaken’ after the report of an attempted robbery at an off-licence in North Belfast.
It’s reported to have happened at premises on the Oldpark Road on Friday afternoon, October 3.
Police say it was reported that a man, armed with a knife, entered the premises shortly before 12.30pm and demanded money from a staff member.

A PSNI statement said: “No money was handed over and the man left the scene empty handed, making off along Alliance Avenue on foot. The staff member was left badly shaken by the incident.
” The suspect was described as being aged in his late 20’s or early 30’s and was wearing a dark blue hoody and was carrying a green Co-Op bag.
“Detectives would ask anyone who witnessed this incident or who may have captured dash-cam or CCTV footage from the area which could help with their investigation, to call them at Musgrave on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 675 03/10/25.”
