A 21-year-old and a 16-year-old were arrested following the incident on October 1
Two people, including a teenager, have been arrested in Co Down after an incident in which a woman was “kicked to the ground.”
Police received a report at 5.30pm on Monday, October 1 of two men making threats outside a property in the Ardmeen Green area of Downpatrick. One of the men was armed with a baseball bat while the other had a knife.
A woman who came out of the house was “kicked to the ground,” police said, with the front window and glass of the front door smashed by the men as she returned inside.

Issuing an appeal for information, the PSNI’s Inspector Porter said: “We received a report at around 5.30pm on Monday, 1st October of two men making threats outside a property, one armed with a baseball bat and the other with a knife.
“It was reported that a woman in her forties who came out of the house was subsequently kicked to the ground, with the front window and the glass of the front door then smashed by the males after she returned inside.
“Officers attended and a 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, criminal damage and possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.
“A 16-year-old boy was also arrested on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm with intent, common assault and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
“The woman and a child from the address later attended hospital to receive treatment for minor injuries.
