Will had been due to return home to Northern Ireland on Friday after living for a time in Barcelona
A 20-year-old Belfast man has died after suffering a sudden arrhythmia attack in Spain.
Will Chidubem Nnadikawe was due to return back to Belfast after living in Barcelona for work but on September 22, he suffered the sudden arrhythmia attack.
This left his brain without oxygen for 18 minutes before he was revived, which left him in a coma on life support. Sadly, Will passed away six days later on Sunday, September 28, with his mum Amelia and sisters Charlize and Kayla by his side.

A fundraiser had been set up by family friend Bronagh Christie to help with Will’s medical costs and family expenses while in Barcelona after travelling to be by Will’s side. Bronagh said the money raised will now go towards expenses Amelia has incurred so far and funeral costs.
Speaking to Belfast Live, Bronagh said: “He was on a year out working over in Barcelona and he was due to fly home on Friday. On Monday, he was on the train with his girlfriend and his heart stopped.
“There was a medic on the train that did CPR, but they had to wait until they got to the nearest train station for the ambulance to get to him. He was without oxygen for 18 minutes, and then by the time the ambulance had got to him, he slipped into a coma.
“Then he was transferred to the hospital, where he was on a life support machine. They had to then turn the machine off on Sunday.”
Bronagh described 20-year-old Will, who had played for Belfast Trojans, as “bright and bubbly”.
She said: “He did a bit of modelling, he was a really handsome boy, he’d been doing DJing.”
Bronagh, who works in St Gerard’s Special School with Will’s mum Amelia, added: “He had phoned his mum last week and said he wanted to come back home again. He had booked his flights to come home on Friday, but this happened on the Monday.
“The money now raised, it was originally to help the girls and Amelia with costs over there and any expenses, now any money raised will now go towards funeral costs and any other expenses that are involved in that.”
Bronagh said that funds from a bag pack at Asda Kennedy Way organised by Friends of St Gerard’s on Saturday, October 4, will go towards the GoFundMe.
The family have been in contact with the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust to help bring Will home.
