PLANET SAUVAGE: Ten years after the launch of Dior’s Sauvage, the men’s scent is coming to life at Somerset House in London with a Fort Sauvage pop-up opening on Thursday until Sunday.
The pop-up is an immersive and experiential location with the brand’s moody aesthetic and a cinematic take on ‘60s western films with masculine hangout spots such as The Fragrance Bar, The Wild Theatre, The General Store and The Barber Shop.
The new Sauvage film featuring Johnny Depp will be played in the theater room. The short film was directed by French photographer and music video director Jean-Baptiste Mondino, whose most famous works include Madonna’s “Justify My Love” and Sting’s “Russians.”

Behind-the-scenes footage of Depp on set will also be played to audiences.
Everything is covered in navy, Sauvage’s signature color, from the barber chairs to the doors.
The Fragrance Bar will trace the scent’s different evolutions through eau de toilette, eau de parfum, parfum, eau forte and elixir. The ingredients of calabrian bergamot, Indonesian patchouli and lavender of Provence can be found in each version of Sauvage.
As reported, one bottle of the scent is snapped up every 30 seconds and more than 12 million of those are rung up yearly.

Guests will be able to buy Dior memorabilia by playing the slot machines, roulette and wild dice.
The pop-up extends beyond scent. The Barber Shop will have expert barbers on site and complimentary treatments will be available through appointments.
There’s also an opportunity for guests to discover Dior’s full fragrance collection in the general store featuring Miss Dior and J’Adore.
