Emmerdale fans have shared their concerns for Jimmy King after he hasn’t been seen on screen in recent weeks
It’s been a busy week on Emmerdale as Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) and Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) tied the knot though the nuptials were far from straightforward.
Vinny was late for the wedding on Tuesday (September 16) after he went to the police station to report Mike (Macaulay Cooper), the man who attacked him and stole £10,000 after Vinny spoke to him about his sexuality struggles.
After gifting his bride-to-be a necklace of her late father, Ashley (John Middleton), Vinny and Gabby eventually made it up the aisle.
The pair said their vows in front of their family and friends, including Vinny’s mum, Mandy (Lisa Riley), and his best man Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah).

Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) was also in attendance, as well as Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) and her fiancé Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant).
Gabby’s side of the room was filled with her mum, Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles), grandad Rodney (Patrick Mower) and aunt Nicola (Nicola Wheeler).
Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) and her son, Arthur (Alfie Clarke), also watched on lovingly, alongside Kim Tate (Claire King) and Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw).
However, it didn’t take long for fans to notice several family members missing from the ceremony.
In the episode, Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) was revealed to have been suffering from stomach problems after having a curry the night before, but there wasn’t an explanation as to why Nicola’s husband, Jimmy (Nick Miles), wasn’t present.
A number of viewers have taken to social media to share their concern for Jimmy after noticing his absence.
“Where the hell has Jimmy gone?” one person asked on X (formerly Twitter).
Another added: “Where was Jimmy, his kids, Marlon, his kids, Sam and Lydia, and Thomas for the wedding? #Emmerdale Gabby should be drinking from the welly.”
A third said: “Where has Jimmy been for a while?” while another similarly commented: “Where’s Jimmy these days?”
A fifth viewer echoed the sentiment, saying: “Why couldn’t Nicola, Jimmy or Rodney walk Gabby down the aisle?” with another sharing: “What’s going on with Nicola and Bob, and where’s Jimmy?”
Jimmy was last seen on screen earlier this year as he tried to calm his wife Nicola down as she clashed with newcomer Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches) over the ownership of the café.
Fans shouldn’t fret too much though as Jimmy is set to return to screens soon, after Nicola Wheeler, who plays Nicola, teased trouble for the couple in future scenes.
“There is going to be trouble coming up, caused by one of their children. That’s a little teaser for you!” she recently told Inside Soap.
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 at 7.30pm and is available to stream from 7am on ITVX
