Emmerdale viewers are convinced that a fresh affair storyline is brewing after spotting a telling clue, with Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) tipped to betray her husband Jimmy (Nick Miles).
During Monday’s instalment of the ITV soap (September 15), the village gathered to celebrate the nuptials of Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) and Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham).
Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles), Gabby’s mum, made her dramatic comeback, and it swiftly emerged she was aware of certain details. She attempted to persuade her daughter against marrying into the Dingle clan, but Gabby dismissed her pleas.
Elsewhere in the village, Nicola was livid to witness her sister’s return to the Dales, reports the Daily Star.

Prior to departing for a fresh start elsewhere, she had previously carried out fraud using Nicola’s identity and had been absent from Gabby’s life.
As Nicola marched out of the B&B, she was joined by Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw), whilst her spouse of 15 years, Jimmy, seemed to be missing from the wedding celebrations.
Bernice branded Nicola her “angry sister”, as Nicola declared: “I thought there was an air of cheap perfume, smells like fraud with a hint of bad life choices”.
Meanwhile, the bridegroom had been struggling with the blackmail scheme from violent Mike and contacted the police about the crime.
On Tuesday (September 16), Gabby feared Vinny might abandon her at the altar as he was nowhere to be found before a romantic reconciliation.
Meanwhile, Nicola and Bob were spotted standing shoulder-to-shoulder, displaying a rather intimate united front as Bernice fussed over her daughter ahead of the heartwarming ceremony.
Emmerdale viewers are now utterly convinced that Nicola is heading towards a fresh romance with Bob behind her husband Jimmy’s back.
Flocking to Facebook, one fan penned: “I feel that Bob and Nicola are going to have an affair, the signs are there.”
Another contributed: “It’s about time Nico and Jimmy’s 15 year marriage was tested tbh”, while a third chimed in: “Yes I thought that too!!”.
“I thought that after watching last night”, one viewer explained whilst another questioned: “Where’s Jimmy?”.
