The market will feature entertainment as well as stalls from local businesses
A community in North Belfast is hosting an autumn market and family fun day this month.
The first Cavehill Autumn Market took place last September, after a successful spring market that saw 5,000 people attend the stalls on the Cavehill Road. This year’s market will take place on Sunday, September 21 from 12pm to 4pm.
At the autumn event, there will be music and entertainment throughout the day at the top end of the road, with performances from the Cavehill Community Choir as well as others expected.

A range of local vendors will be in attendance at the fair, including those selling artisinal treats and unique, handcrafed items. There will also be live music, interactive games, and entertainment for all ages.
The event, organised by the Cavehill Business Association, sees all local businesses along the road playing their part in hosting the event, to spotlight the community feel along the road. The Northern Ireland Hospice will also be fundraising throughout the day at the fair.
Speaking to Belfast Live, Paul Carlin, who is a member of the Cavehill Business Association and owner of Carlin Hair, said: “The Cavehill Road is a great example of how a small business community can work together to create a warm and welcoming community environment for all our people to enjoy.
“The family events are a celebration of this and it is so inspiring to see the enthusiasm and dedication that our wee team have brought to make our Autumn Festival so special.
“We will have plenty of fun on the day and we are so excited about seeing everyone out to celebrate our great part of North Belfast.”
