Kelvin Fletcher’s wife Liz make major announcement as fans say ‘can’t wait’

The former Emmerdale actor and his wife have been keeping fans updated on their latest ventures.

Kelvin and Liz Fletcher have sparked excitement among fans with a ‘last week’ message hinting at their imminent TV comeback.

The couple, who swapped their careers to live on a sprawling 120-acre farm with their four young children, have been gradually revealing more about their family life.

Their farming journey has been documented in the popular ITV show Fletcher’s Family Farm, which has allowed viewers to see Kelvin, formerly known for his role as farmer Andy Sugden in Emmerdale, which recently saw one star let slip Robert and Aaron’s future, take on real-life farming duties alongside Liz.

The series, which airs on Sunday morning, first hit screens in October 2023, followed by a second series in November of the same year.

A 2024 Christmas special saw the family swap their Cheshire farm for a trip to Finland, visiting another thriving family farm in the harsh Arctic Circle.

This festive special paved the way for the continuation of the second series of Fletcher’s Family Farm until mid-February, when Liz confirmed that it was the end – but not permanently, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Kelvin previously told the Manchester Evening News that filming for the next series of Fletcher’s Family Farm is currently underway, with an expected air date in October.

He also revealed plans for another Fletchers’ Family Farm Christmas special in December. Speaking about the show, a delighted Kelvin said: “The show has been really well received. I don’t know what it is, but I think the audience is learning with us.”

Earlier this month, Liz confirmed the final week of filming for the upcoming series. She shared a photo of herself and Kelvin with their children – Marnie, Milo, and twins Mateusz and Maximus – along with other snaps from the show’s recording.

In her post, she wrote: “Our last week filming series 3 and the skies have been picture perfect.”

Fans were quick to express their anticipation as one person said “Oh looking forward to it!”

Another remarked: “Beautiful photos. Looking forward to the next series too.” One fan responded: “Wow look how big the kids getting… loved watching the series..can’t wait for october.”

While someone else stated: “Looking forward to watching the new series, me and my son loved watching the last one.”
