Police say the closure later this evening is expected to last for at least two hours
The PSNI has warned drivers of a closure on the M1 citybound on Monday evening.
Police say the closure will be in place from around 9pm this evening, August 11, from junction 8 to junction 6 “due to a breakdown involving an abnormal load”.
A PSNI statement added: “Belfast-bound traffic will be diverted through Lisburn City Centre and the closure is expected to last for at least two hours.
“Please seek an alternative route for your journey if possible.”
