Emmerdale’s Steph Miligan left the village after a disagreement with Ross Barton on Thursday
Emmerdale fans are convinced they’ve exposed a baby twist for Ross Barton after Steph Miligan’s recent exit.
Viewers of the ITV soap will know that Ross (Michael Parr) and Steph (Georgia Jay) had a brief romance earlier this year.
However, their relationship soon came to an end when Steph struggled to cope after learning that her grandfather, Anthony Fox (Nicholas Day), was actually her biological dad.
Upon hearing about the abuse her mum, Ruby (Beth Cordingly), endured, Steph went into a downward spiral, before beginning a course of therapy sessions.
Months later, Ross and Steph rekindled their romance after Ross’ brother, Lewis (Bradley Riches), got them to talk at the café last week.

However, their romantic bliss didn’t last long as Steph soon realised that Ross had lied to her about not being with anyone else when they were apart.
Fans will recall that he had a one-night stand with Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) during this time.
Ross desperately tried to make amends and made it clear that there was nothing going on between him and Manpreet, but Steph said that she could no longer trust him.
On Thursday (August 7), Steph told her parents that she had booked a yoga retreat in Rome and intended to do some travelling afterwards, as she needed some time to “work on herself”.
During Friday’s (August 8) episode, Manpreet patched up Ross’ hand after he cut it at the garage, with the pair then sharing a passionate kiss.
While having a conversation with Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb), an angry Ruby later caught Ross leaving Manpreet’s house.
“One day my daughter’s been gone, one day. I should never have believed them,” she said.
Moira then asked: “Well, what are you going to do?” with Ruby ominously replying: “Only what they deserve.”
Steph’s exit coincides with actor Georgia’s real-life maternity leave. Now, several Emmerdale fans are convinced that Steph could also be pregnant, and might return to the village with Ross’ baby.
“I know this is going to be very controversial but wouldn’t it be lovely if Steph came back with Ross’ baby and they get back together?” one person wrote on a Facebook fan page.
Another added: “This would be amazing. I always thought they were a cute couple,” while a third said: “Yes please!”
A fourth viewer echoed the sentiment, saying: “Excellent idea. Some happy stories please.”
