EastEnders fans were left in hysterics on Thursday evening as they were left distracted by a photo that was sent to Callum’s phone
EastEnders viewers were left doing a double take after Callum Highway (Tony Clay) received a photo from Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) following their recent affair.
In the latest episodes of the BBC One soap, copper Callum has been flirting up a storm with Johnny, behind the back of his husband Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) who is currently in prison.
The relationship between the long-time friends took a romantic turn when they shared several steamy kisses. Married Callum then succumbed to Johnny’s advances and they spent the night together at The Queen Vic as he betrayed his husband.
But Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) soon caught out his son-in-law Callum and warned him to stay away from Johnny – or he will tell Ben.

During Thursday’s episode of EastEnders (August 7), Callum was talking to his step-daughter Lexi Pearce (Isabella Brown) and Jay (Jamie Borthwick) when he received a text message from Johnny, reports Plymouth Live.
He opened the image to find Johnny posing in a tight pair of swim shorts in front of a beach while holding an inflatable rubber ring.
Callum blushed slightly and put his phone back in his pocket, but the photo has left viewers amused.
Later in the episode, Jay snatched Callum’s phone out of his hand and caught a glimpse of Johnny’s snap.
He warned Johnny to stay after from the lawyer after he also witnessed a flirty exchange between the two men.
Meanwhile, soap enthusiasts were quick to take to X with their responses to the photograph, with one viewer posting: “THE PHOTO CALLUM JUST RECEIVED FROM JOHNNY!” followed by crying emojis.
Another enquired: “WHO THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA??? #EastEnders.”
A third contributed: “Sorry I cannot take this seriously #EastEnders.
