The Loose Women star said the dog was mauling her as she tried to cover her then-four-month-old daughter Ava
A Loose Women panellist has revealed details of a frightening dog attack she experienced.
Kaye Adams presented the ITV daytime programme on Thursday (November 20) alongside Myleene Klass, Nadia Sawalha and Jane Moore.
The panel discussed reports that Queen Camilla’s son Tom Parker-Bowles courageously intervened to protect his Jack Russell after a 10-stone mastiff attacked her.
Food writer Tom described how “all hell broke loose” when the large dog spotted his pet Maud whilst out walking in west London.
Maud required two operations and could suffer lasting psychological trauma, reports the Mirror.
Tom’s ordeal has heightened the writer’s concerns about the potential consequences if large dogs were to attack a young child, incidents which have occurred in recent years.

Sharing her own encounter, Myleene said: “I don’t have a dog but I did have an incident in the park when my first Ava was about four months old.
“You feel very vulnerable anyway as a first time mum and I was just putting her into her car seat and a dog just ran for her and I just got on top of the car seat and her.”
She added: “The dog was on top of me and it was just mauling away and it was utterly terrifying because I didn’t know how long it was going to go on for.
“I could hear the owner shouting and other people trying to help but all I could think about was trying to cover Ava. It was pretty terrifying.”
Earlier this year, police forces reported a significant surge in the number of dog attacks on people across the UK – with interactive maps highlighting the areas with the most incidents.
The largest increase in the number of dog attacks was recorded by Cleveland Police, where they saw a staggering 163% rise between 2019 and 2024.
The Loose Women panel welcomed Big Brother host AJ Odudu and Diversity’s Ashley Bango who shared insights into their latest exciting work projects.
Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV1 and ITVX at 12.30pm
