One of this year’s campmates on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! opened up about their romance outside the ITV show
It looks like there could be wedding bells on the cards for one of the stars in this year’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
The beloved show returned to screens on Sunday night with 10 stars swapping their lives of luxury for the Australian jungle.
So far, ITV viewers have seen the stars jump out of helicopters, have their heads in a box with snakes and take part in the first Bushtucker trial of the series, which didn’t go down well with some fans.
However, outside the world of nail-biting challenges and facing their fears, the campmates are getting to know one another on a more personal level.
Detailing her relationship with singer Jess Glynne, Alex Scott confessed: “I think before her, I never knew happiness.”

When Ruby Wax questioned how they met each other, Alex replied: “She approached me in Chiltern Firehouse.
“I was in there with my friends and she just walked up to me… [it was] really ballsy and I was like, I like your ballsiness, and then the spark was just instant and then yeah…we fell madly in love.”
Wanting to know if there was going to be a marriage on the cards, Alex added: “I will get married to her, just waiting for her to ask, Rubes!”
Ahead of making her way into the jungle, the sports star confessed Jess is going to find it hard when she’s away.
She commented: “Jess thinks I am absolutely mental! But she will be my biggest supporter, and my mum absolutely loves the show.
“Thinking of her tuning in every night will bring a tear. But I will need to push myself to speak out around all of the different and big personalities.
“Not going into myself for being the shy one will be my big challenge. People see you on TV and they assume you are outgoing, that loud person, but take me to red carpets or events.
“I am the one in the corner going, ‘Talk to me, please give me a plus one so I don’t have to be that person who walks in on my own’. It’s going to be a challenge.”
Alex and Jess have been together for two years after confirming their relationship in 2023.
