Police said they are treating the incident as a sectarian hate crime
PSNI are appealing to the public after a poppy wreath was reported stolen earlier today in Derry.
The wreath was taken from The Cenotaph in The Diamond, located in the city and it is believed this occurred sometime between early Sunday Afternoon, November 9 and this morning.
A police spokesman said the incident is being treated as a sectarian hate crime. They have appealed for anyone with information to call 101 quoting reference 856 of 11/11/25.
