‘Stylish’ £14 Primark lamp ‘almost identical’ to £101 version by luxury brand

Primark is stocking a ‘modern’ lamp that looks like a luxury version, but without the price tag. The high street retailer is a go-to destination for shoppers seeking budget-friendly clothing and home accessories, and the store could soon have a new bestseller on its shelves.

The store’s £14 Metallic Touch Lamp resembles Safelles’ Ambient Touch Light, which is currently on sale for £65, down from £101. While customers should be aware of the differences between the lamps, either option could impress a shopper seeking a stylish, minimalist look.

It would be easy to mix and match either lamp in the same room, thanks to the similar styles. Both retailers have opted for a ‘sleek’, slim design with a metallic finish. If price is the priority, then customers might prefer Primark’s offering. However, the luxury version could be preferable for shoppers who want a dimmable lamp.

Primark describes its product as a “modern low-lit metallic lamp with a touch on and off function.” The notes state: “3000K-6000K colour temperature, contains a built in non-replaceable re-chargeable battery.”

It also specifies that the lamp is only suitable for indoor use. The lamp is available in bronze or white, and shoppers can check in-store availability on Primark’s website, reports the Mirror.
