Canadian hip hop duo Snotty Nose Rez Kids will return to Australia and make their Aotearoa/New Zealand debut in February and March 2026, building on the strong connection they’ve forged with audiences across the region. Representing the Haisla Nation from Kitamaat Village in British Columbia, members Young D and Yung Trybez have become one of the most vital voices in contemporary hip hop, blending ancestral storytelling with sharp production and political clarity.
The tour begins with a performance at the 2026 Perth Festival, followed by dates in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, before the pair head to Auckland and Wellington for their first shows on Aotearoa soil.
In Australia, they’ll be joined by BARKAA, the Malyangapa, Barkindji rapper and National Indigenous Music Award winner, who co-headlines all local dates. Across the Tasman, REI, the award-winning artist from Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland, will support both Aotearoa shows. Together, the lineup represents a powerful meeting of Indigenous artistry from across the Pacific.
The tour is co-presented by Bad Apples Music, the First Nations label and collective celebrating its tenth anniversary in 2025, continuing its mission to elevate Indigenous excellence through collaboration and culture.
Snotty Nose Rez Kids’ latest album, Red Future (2024), cemented their place as one of Canada’s most significant creative forces, winning the Juno Award for Rap Album of the Year in 2025 and earning longlist recognition from the Polaris Music Prize. With over 60 million streams, 45 million video views, and their breakout track Boujee Natives crossing 6 million streams, the duo’s return promises a tour grounded in storytelling, identity, and connection.
