Several cars in the Dundonald area have been damaged with Halloween hair dye as police launch an investigation into the vandalism.
The incident took place in the Brooklands Gardens area sometime between the evening of Friday, October 10 and the morning of Saturday, October 11.
It was reported that several cars were damaged in the area with what is believed to be Halloween hair dye.

Police have said that some of the dye has managed to be removed by the car owners, it “in no way excuses the intent to damage people’s property”.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Police in Lisburn /Castlereagh are appealing for information following a number of vehicles being damaged in the Brooklands Gardens area of Dundonald.
“Sometime between the evening of Friday10th October and the morning of Saturday 11th October, several cars were found to have been sprayed with what appears to be Halloween hair dye.
“Thankfully, some of those affected have been able to remove the dye using products such as T-Cut, however this in no way excuses the intent to deface or damage people’s property.
“If you witnessed anything suspicious, have CCTV or doorbell footage from the area, or have children who may have come home with purple or green dye in their hair and might know anything about this, please contact Police on 101, quoting reference 221 of 11/10/25.
“Let’s work together to keep our community safe and respectful this Halloween season.”
