Loose Women was hit with a moment of chaos during Thursday’s live show as a phone started ringing in the studio
Loose Women was struck by an unexpected interruption when Denise Welsh’s mobile rang during the live broadcast.
During Thursday’s (October 2) edition of the ITV daytime programme, Kaye Adams was presenting alongside panellists Kelly Brook, Myleene Klass and Denise as they tackled the day’s biggest talking points.
But just minutes into an emotional discussion titled ‘what would you tell little you?’, a phone could be heard ringing in the studio, sparking a brief moment of confusion amongst the quartet.
The panel were taking part in a current social media phenomenon, where people use artificial intelligence to create images resembling polaroid’s against white backdrops, showing their present-day selves embracing their younger selves.

The trend has been adopted for various purposes, though many use it to symbolically comfort their childhood selves. Speaking candidly about her youth, Myleene revealed: “I was not a cool kid, I was a really geeky kid and it’s so funny to see that because I spent so long trying to fit in..”
Just as she was about to complete her thought, a ringtone interrupted proceedings and she immediately turned to her colleague, asking: “Is your phone going off Den?”.
Denise looked mortified as she responded: “My God I’ll get into trouble!” Kaye enquired: “Is it Lincoln [Denise’s husband]?” prompting Myleene to quip: “It’s her son ‘mum stop embarrassing yourself.'”.
The studio erupted in laughter as Denise explained: “It’s Louis [her son] going ‘don’t you dare mention me on that programme'”. This follows a recent Loose Women episode that began in rather peculiar fashion when all four panellists were nowhere to be seen.
Viewers tuning into Tuesday’s (September 30) live broadcast were left baffled as the familiar theme tune played over an entirely vacant desk.
At the time, one viewer took to social media writing: “That was weird #loosewomen.” Another chimed in: “wtf was that? #loosewomen.”
Fortunately, it wasn’t long before presenter Jane Moore emerged through the sliding doors accompanied by panellists Mariella Frostrup, Kelly Brook and Sunetra Sarker.
Jane swiftly launched into the programme by addressing the day’s top stories and announced that Kelsey Parker would be appearing as a guest in the studio.
