Apple shoppers are scrambling to bag a last-minute Black Friday deal on the tech giant’s latest smartphone. The offer is part of Sky Mobile’s Black Friday sale, where shoppers can now snap up the iPhone 17 Pro for £34 per month.
The device was priced at £35 upon its release, and while it might not seem like a massive saving, it does shave off £36 from the cost of a phone that’s less than three months old. The deal applies to the 256GB model, available in Cosmic Orange, Deep Blue or Silver, with an upfront cost of £12.
However, Sky has marked this deal as ‘selling fast’ and confirmed that their Black Friday sale will conclude on Thursday, December 4. Other Apple phones included in Sky’s sale are the iPhone 17 (£25), iPhone Air (£31) and iPhone 17 Pro Max (£37).
Bear in mind that Sky’s mobile contracts last for 36 months, with the option to switch to a new phone after 24 months at no additional charge. It’s also worth noting that each plan comes with a 100MB data allowance, so those who use more data may want to upgrade to a larger plan ranging from 1GB for £2 to unlimited for £20.
Meanwhile, giffgaff is offering the iPhone 17 Pro with unlimited data for £47.06 per month and a £40 upfront fee, but the Cosmic Orange model is currently unavailable. The Currys-backed site Mobiles.co.uk is throwing in a free pair of AirPods 4 with its own iPhone 17 Pro deal, but this comes in at a heftier £43.99 per month and £225 upfront, reports the Liverpool Echo.
The iPhone 17 Pro is one of Apple’s most powerful smartphones, featuring a 6.3″ Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion technology. It’s powered by the A19 Pro chip, boasts a long-lasting battery offering up to 31 hours of video playback and a 48MP Pro Fusion camera system. It also offers numerous artificial intelligence features courtesy of Apple Intelligence, while its exterior is fashioned with an aluminium design and robust Ceramic Shield back.
