Emmerdale fans are convinced they know when John Sugden will finally be exposed after he pushed Aaron Dingle off a cliff and left him fighting for his life
Emmerdale fans have ‘sussed out’ when John Sugden will finally be unmasked.
John (Oliver Farnworth) made his first appearance last year, arriving in the Dales as the alleged long-lost son of Jack Sugden (Clive Hornby). He quickly left a mark on the locals.
The enigmatic doctor settled into the village, whilst getting acquainted with his distant family members – including sister Victoria (Isabel Hodgins). He also tied the knot with Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) after a whirlwind courtship.
However, what the villagers are unaware of, is that John is harbouring numerous dark secrets, including the fact that he murdered Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) last year, and disposed of his body in a local lake.
He also recently kidnapped Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) after he uncovered the truth, and assaulted him, before holding him captive in a bunker, reports the Daily Star. This week though, it all fell apart for John when Aaron discovered everything.
During a confrontation on a cliff, John confessed all before Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) arrived to rescue Aaron. John then staged a call to the emergency services and claimed that Robert was threatening him.
And in a heartbreaking twist, John ended up leaping off the cliff and he took Aaron with him. In Wednesday’s episode (September 10) the fate of Aaron and John was revealed, with both being rushed to hospital.
As Aaron’s family and friends rushed to his bedside, they were informed that he was in a coma and battling for his life. On the other hand, John escaped with minor injuries and was expected to recover quickly.
However, fans believe they have figured out when John’s misdeeds will be revealed. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one individual commented: “This is just not fair. How long before the truth comes out and that monster John is found out.”
Other fans speculated that the revelation would occur around Christmas. They posted: “They are probably going to drag it out until Christmas.”
A third agreed: “Yeah Christmas.” Echoing their sentiments, another person wrote: “Christmas probably.”
