Ill Niño have announced their return to Australian stages in September 2025, marking their first shows in the country in eight years. The Latin-influenced metal band will tour with a set that combines fan favourites with new material.
The news follows the appointment of Tommy Roulette (formerly of Jynx) as the band’s new frontman. Roulette made his live debut with Ill Niño on July 3 at the Mercury Music Lounge in Lakewood, Ohio, during their tour with Powerman 5000. Recording has already begun with Roulette on vocals, and a new single, Born To Suffer, is expected soon.
Formed in the late 1990s, Ill Niño made their breakthrough with 2001 debut Revolution Revolución and its follow-up Confession (2003), which included the Billboard-charting single How Can I Live. Their return to Australia comes as the band enters a new era, balancing their early catalogue with the energy of their new line-up.
