Martha’s side part and bob are her signature look, you know? So, imagine our surprise when we saw her with an entirely new look.
For the launch party celebrating Stewart’s new skin-care line, Elm Biosciences, the entrepreneur had her hair piled on top of her head in a stunning Pamela Anderson updo. The look was a far cry from her typical buttoned-up bob, and featured a heavy side part with curled pieces framing her face. A mirror behind Stewart offered a peek at the back, with messy strands of hair pinned in place for the perfect undone look.
Anderson’s updo is famous in its own right, with celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Megan Fox, and Sabrina Carpenter sporting the look on different occasions. It’s messy, it’s simple, and it’s sexy. Plus, it’s easier to get the look than you might think.
In 2023, during an interview with British Vogue, Pamela Anderson revealed that when she found herself without a hair tie, she’d use a thong. “Don’t know why I have a G-string in my purse, but don’t tell me that you don’t have a scrunchie. This is the trick of the trade. We’re really flashing back to the ’90s. The tousled updo always had a pair of panties in them.” One of our editors actually tested out the thong hack and found that it worked pretty well. (Cheers to that!)
