New drama Imposter – which stars Dannii Minogue – centres on a bitter family feud
Neighbours icon Jackie Woodburne is barely recognisable in a sneak peek at a new series where she’ll share the screen with Dannii Minogue.
The actress is set to star in Imposter and looks a far cry from Ramsay Street’s Susan Kennedy in promotional snaps for the drama, which is currently being filmed in Melbourne, Australia.
Dressed in a chic black ensemble and sporting a vibrant scarf around her neck, she’s seen alongside co-stars Kym Marsh and Dannii, who’s making a return to acting after decades of focusing on other projects.
Dannii previously had a role in Home and Away before shifting her focus to her music career, reports the Mirror.
The Aussie star portrayed troublesome teenager Emma Jackson in the soap from 1989 to 1990, but her part in Imposter marks her first locally produced TV drama in over three decades.

Posting the same promotional image on Instagram, she teased, “We’re not in Summer Bay anymore, Toto!”
The four-part series is set in a coastal Victorian town and revolves around a family feud as matriarch Helen resists pressure from her three adult children to sell her seaside hotel.
The plot thickens when it emerges that Helen is also hiding a secret, that she once gave a daughter up for adoption. Enter Amanda, whom Helen is thrilled to see. But is Amanda who she claims to be?
“The lucrative hotel is the ultimate prize, and a twisted scheme soon spirals into betrayal and ultimately, murder,” says the show’s synopsis.
The cast features Offspring’s Don Hany, Home and Away’s Charlie Clausen, The Tourist’s Kabir Singh, and newcomer Adeline Williams, alongside its trio of leading ladies.
