Emmerdale fans are convinced that a shock death is on the cards for one Dingle
Emmerdale viewers are forecasting a shocking demise and it’s not looking promising for the Dingles.
Charity (Emma Atkins) has been a constant presence on the soap since her first appearance back in 2000. As part of the much-loved Dingle family, she’s been involved in numerous major plotlines.
From surprising family revelations to stints in prison, her life in the Dales has been anything but dull. Particularly now, as she is currently expecting after agreeing to carry her granddaughter Sarah Sugden’s (Katie Hill) baby.
However, Charity finds herself in a quandary having secretly slept with ex-lover Ross Barton (Michael Parr) recently, leading to uncertainty over the paternity of her unborn child.
Ross has since demanded clarity, but adding to Charity’s stress, her husband Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) recently left her, reports the Daily Star.
Unbeknownst to her, Mack was apparently murdered by clandestine killer John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth), after discovering he was responsible for Nate Robinson’s (Jurrell Carter) death last year.
During a confrontation in the woods, John shot Mack with an arrow before seemingly finishing him off with a large stone.
He has since concealed his actions and has been sending messages to Charity from Mack’s phone, impersonating him.
In Wednesday’s episode (August 27), Ross returned demanding answers from Charity, insisting on a paternity twist. Overwhelmed, Charity asked Ross to leave.
However, amidst all the turmoil in pregnant Charity’s life, fans can’t help but speculate a shocking death might be imminent. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, viewers are suspecting that Charity could be written out of the show.
One individual posted: “I have a horrible feeling Charity is going to die soon. Either during childbirth or when she finds out about Mack I think.” Another person commented: “I thought this too, it would be so sad but nobody is safe I guess.”
A third then added: “100% she’s going to end up having a heart attack or something from the stress.” Echoing their thoughts, another wrote: “Maybe in childbirth.”
