On Thursday, Sam Fender takes over the Boucher Road Playing Fields for his biggest Belfast show to date.
Performing as part of Belfast Vital, the singer-songwriter is making his highly anticipated return to Northern Ireland after his sold-out Belsonic gig in 2023.
The gig is the next stop on his ‘People Watching’ tour before he heads to acclaimed Irish festival Electric Picnic.

When does Sam Fender play Belfast Vital?
He is the first gig of Belfast Vital 2025 and is performing on Thursday, August 28.
Who are Sam Fender‘s Belfast Vital support acts?
At his Belfast show, Sam will be joined by Irish talent CMAT who performed at Glastonbury earlier this summer.
He is also supported by Dublin singer-songwriter Aaron Rowe.
How to get to Boucher Road?

Additional late services will be operating to get concertgoers home from Belfast Vital on 28 th and 29th August. Passengers should use scheduled services to make their way to Balmoral Train Station for the event and can use the additional late-night rail services for their return.
For passengers wishing to travel home on the Larne, Bangor or Coleraine lines, please use the additional late-night services to travel from Balmoral Train Station to Belfast Grand Central Station and change here for your connecting line. Please plan your journey in advance via the Journey Planner App to allow for sufficient time to make your connection.

Belfast Vital age restriction information
Promoters MDC said that the gig is recommended over 16’s.
Up to two under-16s can go to the Sam Fender concert as long as they’re accompanied by a parent or guardian 25+.
