The PSNI is appealing for information after the report of a robbery by a man brandishing a needle in Belfast City Centre.
It’s reported to have happened at commercial premises on Chichester Street on Sunday evening, August 24. It was reported that at around 7.10pm, a man entered the premises “brandishing a needle and demanded that a female staff member open the till”.
PSNI Detective Sergeant Kitchen added: “He was described as being approximately 5 ft 5 ins in height, and dressed in a grey tracksuit.

“The suspect was reported to have taken a sum of cash, and left the scene in the direction of Upper Arthur Street.
“Enquiries are underway, and we are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time, or who might have any information which could assist, to get in touch.
“The number to call is 101, quoting reference number 1454 of 24/08/25.”
