GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter Gregory Alan Isakov will return to Australia and New Zealand for a series of intimate acoustic performances. The run marks his third visit to Australia and second to New Zealand, with confirmed stops including Sydney’s State Theatre, Auckland’s Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre, and Melbourne’s Palais Theatre.
Audiences can expect stripped-back arrangements of material spanning his career, including songs from his latest album Appaloosa Bones alongside Evening Machines, The Weatherman, This Empty Northern Hemisphere, and That Sea, the Gambler. Isakov will be joined on stage by a musician and friends for each performance.
Priority access begins with the Early Bird Presale on Thursday 14 August at 12pm AEST, ahead of the general sale on Tuesday 19 August at 12pm AEST.
Born in Johannesburg and raised in Philadelphia, Isakov is now based in Colorado, where he writes and records in his barn studio when not touring, and runs Starling Farm in Boulder County.
