One Emmerdale actress has announced this weekend that she’s expecting her first child with her husband.
Actress Isabel Hodgins, who plays Victoria Sugden in Emmerdale, has revealed she’s expecting her first baby, just months following her wedding to husband Adam Whitehead.
The 31-year-old, who has graced the ITV soap since 2006, posted a sweet photograph clutching her ultrascan images whilst gazing into her partner’s eyes.
Donning a white summer frock and tenderly holding her growing belly, Isabel appeared radiant as always with gold hoop earrings, bracelets and a coordinating necklace, allowing her dark hair to cascade in soft curls down her spine, reports the Express.
Her partner Adam, meanwhile, sported a brown polo shirt and striped cotton trousers as he stretched across to grasp their ultrasound photographs, this follows the news of another Emmerdale stars pregnancy announcement last week.

Isabel posted on Instagram: “First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes… Baby Whitehead. You can read about it in the @dailymirror tomorrow and @ok_mag next week,” including the hashtag “#BabyOnTheWay.”
Her Emmerdale colleagues flocked to the comments area to express their complete backing, with Natalie Ann Jamieson, who portrayed Amy Wyatt until her character’s demise last year, commenting: “Ahh congratulations guys! Lovely news.”
Bradley Johnson, who portrays Vinny Dingle, responded: “This is the best news! Massive congratulations guys!”
Tracy Metcalfe actress Amy Walsh contributed: “Omgosh! I knew it! I had a feeling! So happy for you guys.”
Belle Dingle performer Eden Taylor Draper commented: “She’s a mommy, mamacita,” whilst Aaron Dingle actor Danny Miller added: “So happy for you both!!”
Isabel revealed to OK! that it was her husband Adam who informed her of her pregnancy.
Adam explained: “Isabel was overdue by a few days, so she took a test. But then, she just chucked it on the floor and it was upside down just lying there.”
Isabel admitted: “I didn’t want to look at it, as I felt it would make time go slower to stare. But Mr Impatient comes along to look at it and sees that it’s positive.”
She continued: “But I thought, ‘Surely we can’t trust it because it’s been upside down, so it might have impacted the result.’ We rushed to Boots to buy three more, and they were all positive too, so we thought it must be right.”
Emmerdale is available to watch on ITVX.
